Yesterday I learned that one of my former college professors passed away. He was on sabbatical in Spain and was due to give a speech in the UK, when he was found dead. I had him as a professor for my very last semester of college. Even though I had him for only 1 semester, he was one of the best teachers I ever had and his class made this final semester the best one I had at NAU (Northern Arizona University). I am still in shock, he was fairly young, another example of someone’s life being cut too short. He was passionate and intelliegent and you could tell he truly believed in what he taught. He was an activist and encouraged others to fight for what they beleived it. As professor he touched and changed many lives, and made a huge impact in my life as well. I learned so much from his class and its sad to know that many NAU students will never know him. I hope he knows that he has made a difference in many lives and that the impact he has made on the NAU community will never be forgotten. My thoughts and prayers are with his family, he left behind a wife and two kids. He will be missed. RIP Joel Olson.

My new favorite Sunday show
and the perfect replacement for Pan Am since it takes place in the same time period, and is pretty similar except Mad Men doesn’t have flight attendants. (still sad that Pan Am is over, though, when will it come back!?)
After a hiatus, I will now be updating this regularly starting June 12th! So, more to come!

Urban Decay Primer Potion
This stuff is great! Up until know my eyeshadow has always creased and clumped together (thank you, oily lids), but when I started using this primer, my eyeshadow no longer clumps together. If you have the same problem I do, you need to get this stuff. You will wonder how you ever lived without it. This stuff works great and I use it constantly. One note- It does cause your eyeshadow to be a bit more vibrant, which is the whole point, but use lighter shades if that is not the look you’re going for.
